Revelation 12:7-9.And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon fought and his angels,
8.And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9.And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Revelation 12:12 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
The Battle is harder for some than others but we are all in a Battle.Ephesians6:12 says,For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We have a Hidden Enemy, satan the devil and his fallen angels. One of the most difficult parts of the Christian life is becoming a disciple of Christ does not make us immune to life’s trials and tribulations. But with this Blogspot he won’t be hidden anymore. No person is immune to life’s trials and tribulations,Therefore, for the believer, all trials and tribulations must have a divine purpose. GOD allows trouble, not to destroy us but to develop us. It’s not about Punishment,it’s about Preparation.
Can You Lose the Anointing? Protecting the Anointing
1 John 2:27
But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
So when someone says that they lost the anointing, what they are saying is that the person is not in the ministry like before. The same fact in regard with the gifts that function in us. For example taking the gift of speaking in tongues. People may say that they lost the gift of speaking in tongues. What they are actually saying is that, they allowed sin, fear, condemnation or doubt to subdue their gift. They have given into those wiles of the enemy and now it seems like they have lost the gift.
However what happens is that the person does not lose the gift but they simply lose the confidence to function in that gift. Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 1 John 2:20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.
2 Corinthians 1:21–22 21 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, 22 and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
Another meaning for the word anointed is "chosen one." The Bible says that Jesus Christ was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News and free those who have been held captive by sin (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38) After Christ left the earth, He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16). Now all Christians are anointed, chosen for a specific purpose in furthering God's Kingdom(1 John 2:20). "Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee"
On a side note, conviction of sin and the feeling of not using the gift is good if it allows you to repent and go back to God. But there are some who continue to function in the gift in extreme faith) without any repentance, thereby abusing the gift that God has placed in them. At no point should we allow the enemy to hijack our gift or the anointing God has placed in us by bringing guilt and condemnation. And again, there is not going to be a point where we are perfect enough to handle the anointing. the key is to go to God every morning, for every morning His mercies are new! Lean on Jesus. Leaning on our capacity to believe to make something happen is carnal. It’s interesting that the disciples would stress that the miracle of the lame happened because of the faith in the name of Jesus (Acts 3:16, 1 John 3:23) This is where many fault as they push the anointing to be based on what THEY do, or say or act. No, it has to solely be on what the Father does in order to lift the name of Jesus. When it becomes all about what we do and how we achieve something, we are on dangerous grounds of what is called – PERFORMANCE.That’s when we strive to get things done without simply trusting His name and the One who sends us.
Instead we must lean on the Word of God. Immerse yourself into the prayer and the reading of His Word together. Therein faith will soar for His glory and purposes.
